WNORTH is a boutique-style conference focused on providing a forum for women who are aiming for, or already on, a senior executive leadership track.Donna oversees a long list of departments at Burton, from U.S. Sales and Sustainability to Women’s Leadership and Burton’s non-profit, Chill. She met Burton’s founder, Jake Burton Carpenter, in a Vermont bar on New Year’s Eve 1981. Ever since, she’s been a driving force at the world’s leading snowboard company. “I am honored to speak at the WNORTH conference this upcoming spring,” says Donna Carpenter, CEO of Burton. “It’s always inspiring to share the story of our women’s leadership initiatives with fellow female executives. We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved so far – both for women internally and our female consumers. But there’s always more to accomplish, and conferences like WNORTH provide a valuable opportunity for professional women to learn from each other and get inspired to advocate for future female leaders.”

“I am thrilled to confirm that Donna Carpenter is joining an inspiring line-up of speakers at this year’s conference,” says Heather Odendaal, Founder and Curator of WNORTH. “Thanks to Donna’s leadership, Burton has built a diverse leadership team, implemented progressive parent policies, established strong mentoring programs, and has become a brand and employer of choice for women. She’s the perfect addition to WNORTH, a forum designed to support female leaders on their path to senior executive leadership.”
