Fiona Douglas-Crampton

President & CEO of the Dalai Lama Center for Peace + Education

Fiona often says that thinking you can plan out your career path even 5 years into the future is almost impossible, and could mean that you miss great opportunities. And her eclectic background of experience is an illustration of that point.

Fiona’s has been an unexpected and interesting journey, including careers as a Gaming Investigator, Stay-at-home Mom, Sales & Marketing professional, and Non-Profit CEO. When talking of her current role, she says “It seems like the universe moved me here.” and feels she was meant to become the President & CEO of the Dalai Lama Center for Peace + Education.

Her previous roles have been as CEO of the Minerva Foundation from 2011 – 2013, Acting Director of Fund Development at YWCA Metro Vancouver, and prior to that, as the Director of Membership Marketing Vancouver Board of Trade.

She began her affiliation with the Dalai Lama Center for Peace + Education as a Strategic Consultant, and took over the role of President & CEO for the Dalai Lama Center in April of 2014.

At the heart of all her work is a focus on building strong, meaningful relationships externally and internally. Fiona is passionate, and her leadership style is collaborative and energetic, with an emphasis on authenticity and creating a positive work environment.
